Author Biographical Note -  I am a retired elementary classroom teacher having taught

                                              sixth grade language arts.  I live on a whitetail deer farm

          with my husband Doug. We bottle-feed our fawns and really

                                              enjoy the raising of our deer,  My husband, as I refer to in

                                              the book as “Farmer Joe” does a lot of the work and I help

                                              as much as I can.  We also raise Great Pyrenees dogs  which

                                              are great protectors of our deer.  I have raised two grown

                                              sons and they were the reason we got into the deer raising

                                              business years ago.  They enjoy them, along with their wives 

                                              and my five wonderful grandchildren. They love to hand

                                              feed them and name each one. We are a “DEER” loving

                                              family.  That’s for sure!!!
